Jaramogi's 11th Memorial Celebrations in Bondo (29 January 2005)

The 11th Memorial Celebrations included a visit to Got Ramogi, which is one of the Foundation's major projects.

The trip to Got Ramogi was led by the Ker and Luo Council of Elders. A church service and the opening of the Museum followed. The Museum has been extended this year to include stuffed animals.

The official ceremony to mark the 11th Anniversary of Jaramogi's death had as its Chief Guest, the Hon. Najib Balala, Kenya's Minister of National Heritage. The theme of this year's Anniversary is, "Culture and Heritage: Are They Complementary or Contradictory?" this is also one of the topic that was covered during the three day symposium (above).
