A three-day public symposium was held in late January in partnership with Maseno University in which various scholars made presentations on topics including Democracy, Human Rights, Gender, Leadership, Economic Empowerment, Historical and Cultural issues.

The lectures were followed by plenary discussions. The outcome of these discussions will be published and disseminated through the JOOF website and by various community groups that collaborate with the Foundation in its work.
