Events Marking the 10th Anniversary of JOOF

Jaramogi Memorial Annual Golf Tournament (15 January 2005)

The Foundation runs an Annual Memorial Golf Tournament. This year's Golf Tournament and Youth Clinic were supported and sponsored by various corporate bodies and well-wishers, such as Unga Millers, Tononoka Steel Ltd, Ndugu Transporters, Toyota Kenya, Hillbrow Ltd, Praying Mantis, Moderm Security, Sokhi International, Silop Planners, Spectre International, Hayer Contractors, Imperial Hotel, Monami, Kenya Breweries Ltd and Total Kenya, to name a few.

The successful golf competition was attended by His Excellency the Vice-President of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Moody Awori; Hon. Anyang' Nyong'o; Hon. Raila Odinga; and most of the Nyanza MPs. Through sponsorship, Kshs 320,000 was raised, which will be used towards the Youth Bursary.
