Current Projects and Programmes at JOOF

Museum and Mausoleum in Bondo

The Foundation has developed a one-stop community-based museum and Luo Heros Exhibition Centre, situated on Jaramogi's homestear in Bondo, Western Kenya, and which has now been registered under the National Museums of Kenya.

This includes the Jaramogi Mausoleum, a collection of cultural symbols and traditional artifacts and regalia of African peoples. In 2005 the Foundation will undertake development of a Cultural Research Centre to complement the work already done with the Museum and the work of JOOF in initiating at the Ramogi Hill.
